Yes, most of our styles run true to size, unless otherwise stated.
We pride ourselves on the quality and wearability of our fabrication which has been blended to allow for ultimate stretch and comfort, whilst remaining long lasting. That's why our underwear feels so light on, yet is designed to hold and contour your unique shape.
The only product in our range which runs small is The Blur thong which we have designed without stubborn and uncomfortable elastics and have sized as a petite fit, with the recommendation of moving up a size if you are curvier in the waist/hip.
Congratulations, what a special time for you! Our founder was pregnant during the production phase for several of our styles and so they have all been tried, tested and worn through the pre and postnatal journey. Here are our personal recommendations:
- The Blur thong - jump up a size in this one. It's exceptionally comfortable and forgiving on the hips so it will accommodate changes to your shape and fit beautifully. This one was a favourite pre and post bub - especially for those days when you're living in super stretchy activewear but can't stand the thought of tight elastics.
- The Sundays short - Hello elastic free waistbands! The Sundays will mould with your beautifully growing belly for many months! But these shorts are basically all you'll want to live in post bub. On a scale of 1-10 for comfort, we scream 10! Whether you're cramming icepacks down your pants or didn't have a spare second to get dressed, you'll be comfortable, content and supported in these.
- The Yin Yang - if you're after underwear that will make you look and feel wonderful (but equally as comfortable as a granny pant) then here you go. Also lived in 24/7 post bub!

Our manufacturing journey has not been a quick or easy one. We began in a small factory in Sydney, then moved onto a small family run factory in Bali, until we finally committed to our current factory and team in the Guangdong Province of China.
Along our journey we realised we needed a team with a broad technical skill set and access to machine innovation. Whilst underwear may seem a simple garment, it is a daily necessity that must fit and feel comfortable on and so there is little room for compromise.
Our BSCI certified factory guarantees us the skills and reliability we need, whilst ensuring our team of workers are paid above award wages within regular working hours. We also prefer the close proximity of our supply chain in China as our bamboo and GOTS Organic Cotton is sourced, milled and dyed in China, therefore allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint associated with producing fabrications.
Rarely. We design underwear that we regard as staple styles and wardrobe basics that do not rely on trends or seasons. Therefore, we are not in a position to devalue our product for a quick sale, instead we wish to continue maintaining the ethical standards and business model The Unseen is built upon.
We do, however, wish to reward our loyal customers. We prefer to offer exclusive discounts and offers to our Unseen community. You can receive these benefits by subscribing to our VIP email list via our pop-up box, or in the footer at the base of this page.
Absolutely, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. Please check our Shipping and Returns page for more details.
It depends on where you are. Orders processed in Australia will take 5-10 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-21 days. Delivery tracking details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We ship around Australia using Sendle and Australia post, depending on the weight of the parcel. We use DHL for all international orders. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for more details.
All our international customers are responsible for any additional costs such as taxes and duties which are determined by your local customs office. As each country is different, we cannot accept responsibility for any extra charges that may be incurred.
Please also note that we cannot make changes to your invoice to reflect a lower item value.
We package each garment inside a bio-cassava polybag which is non-toxic and certified biodegradable and compostable. Your parcel is then shipped in either our own custom made waxed-cardboard mailer, or a Heropack compostable mailer bag made of corn starch and PBAT.
It is best to home compost your mailer bag by removing any labels, cutting the bag up and then adding this into your compost bin as “brown” materials. The bag will completely break down within 90-120 days and sometimes even sooner!
If you don't have access to a home compost and are in Australia, you can find a composter near you here, or ask your local council to provide a green composting bin for you.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
We do not offer refunds unless an item is deemed faulty. We are more than happy to exchange the style, size or colour providing the item is in its original condition with tags attached, is unworn and with no visible signs of wear or damage.
Alternatively, we also offer credit notes upon request.
By law, we CANNOT accept returns or exchanges on underwear briefs for hygienic reasons, unless the garment is deemed faulty. In the case of a faulty garment, we will ensure you receive a replacement, with all shipping charges at our expense.
